Meet our team

Marie founded Connected Accounting in 2019 and currently serves as the company’s CEO. She lives in Culver City, CA with her husband, Danny, and mini goldendoodle, Elle. Prior to starting her own firm, she developed and launched the client accounting services’ practice at Gursey Schneider LLP. When Marie is not working she enjoys hiking, skiing, organizing, reading, and spending time with her family.

Pepper has been with Connected Accounting since October 2021 and lives outside Columbus, OH with her husband and two dogs. She has over 15 years of accounting experience mainly focusing on commercial & residential real estate and construction. When Pepper is not working, she enjoys spending time reading, working in her garden or going side-by-side riding in the mountains.

Alexis has been with Connected Accounting since July 2023. She currently resides in Kansas City, KS and in her free time she enjoys quality time with her friends/family, a good book, and exploring new coffee shops.

Jaclyn has been with Connected Accounting since September 2021 and lives in South Carolina with her husband, and twin boys. She comes from a private accounting background with experience in hospitality, and F&B. When Jaclyn is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, traveling and cooking.

Mario has been with Connected Accounting since October 2020 and lives in Los Angeles, CA. He loves to spend time with his friends, watching and playing basketball, and his mom’s homemade meals.

Mills joined Connected Accounting in September of 2022 and lives in Cookeville, TN with his wife and three kids. He has 10 plus years in accounting experience ranging from corporate accounting to a small tax firm. When Mills is not working, he enjoys spending with his family, enjoying the lake, golfing and riding motorcycles.

Chase joined Connected Accounting in October of 2023. Chase resides in Daphne, Alabama. He comes from a traditional CPA firm with experience in tax and audit. Chase spends his free time watching sports, working out, and spending time with family.

Dustin has been with Connected Accounting since March 2024. He enjoys life with Megan, his wife since 2021, and their joyful baby girl, Annie. Together they love to hike and explore national parks. On the flip-side, you can also find them cozied up at home enjoying a board game. He values his family, his church, and serving his community.

Jordan started with Connected Accounting in June, 2025. In his previous position he worked in the Oil & Gas industry assisting the revenue and general ledger teams. Some of his hobbies include golf, fishing, and spending time with family. He is a middle child with two younger sisters and an older brother, who he spends most of his free time with.

Before joining Connected Accounting in June 2025, Jordan spent over five years working at an automotive dealership, handling inventory management and accounting support. He’s based in Roseville (about 30 mins north of Sacramento) and spends most of his free time with his dog, Storm Trooper, working out, and watching football. I’m unfortunately a die-hard Chargers fan and never miss a game. I’m always looking for ways to learn, improve, and contribute however I can.

I am a born and raised Georgia girl, so Southern Hospitality is part of my core. I am married to my favorite person on this planet, and together we have a whole herd of kids and cows. Literally, we have a blended family of seven kids and run a cattle farm. Outside of work you can find me either outside running or running my kids around to all of their activities. I love reading, puzzles, and problem solving and am very excited to join the CA team!
